A graduate of Texas Tech University, Ron Armstrong began his career in Denver with Skidmore Owings and Merrill, where he became a Senior Project Manager for several large urban mixed-use projects. He joined Urban Design Group in 1984 and is one of the founding shareholders. As the Managing Principal of the Denver office and now the Dallas office, Ron serves as the leading managing architect of the firm's large, complex projects including Tabor Center, Rivercenter, Silver Legacy, Disney's Wilderness Lodge and Animal Kingdom Lodge in Florida, and the Grand Californian Hotel in California. In his 22 years of professional practice, Ron's proven leadership in process management methodology has set a standard of service for the firm comparable to any in the industry.
