Urban Design Group helped convert the former Empress Casino into a Hollywood Casino in Joliet, Illinois by replacing the gaming support pavilion and adding a parking deck to the property. Just minutes from Chicago, the renovated casino features Penn National Gaming's unique Hollywood design theme. The casino offers slots, table games and poker. The facility features four dining options, a retail area, full service hotel and an on-site RV resort.

9.2011 - Urban Design Group Excited to Move Forward with Cataloochee Wilderness Resort
Cataloochee Wilderness Resort is now moving forward. The land for Phase One is assembled and funding is in place. The new ownership and the new leadership team believe it is the right time to begin. Urban Design Group is developing the master plan for the project which is adjacent to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park and Pisgah National Forest. The initial phase will include retail, a resort style lodge/conference center and residential units.
