Located on the Mediterranean coast immediately adjacent to the ancient Phoenician ruins of Amrit (circa 700 B.C.), this 95-acre site was master planned for a 4-star resort hotel, a large multi-purpose meeting center, restaurants and night club; two apartment hotels and chalet units. The complex also includes two levels of retail facing onto a plaza, a health center and golf club supporting 9-hole par 3 golf course, a saddle and racquet club, a beach club, bar and a marina with slips for sail and power craft.
The site was carefully planned around the revered orchards and natural streams. By using stone and masonry construction, the architectural design is sensitive to the indigenous architecture of Syria and this coastal region.
