The new Hollywood Slots Hotel and Raceway replaces a smaller interim facility that opened in 2005. This gaming facility houses 1,500 slot machines, a full-service bar and entertainment lounge, a simulcast facility for off-track betting, and a buffet and signature restaurant with two private dining rooms. The project also includes a 1,500-car parking deck, and a seven-story hotel. The exterior palette is comprised of warm shades of cream and tan to complement the historical context of downtown Bangor. The design also includes a two-story semi-circular glass tower, anchoring the end of the building and serving as the gateway to the gaming area.

The seven-level hotel, accessed by a retail promenade to the main casino floor, is designed to continue the nearly 24-hour entertainment experience. While not a true “luxury hotel,” rooms are designed to appeal to guests seeking the choice and comforts associated with a luxury property.
