The Business Services Group of Amoco Corporation was a new group formed by the parent company to consolidate accounting and management facilities previously dispersed across the nation. The project provided office space for 1,600 new positions and restructured virtually all of the space occupied by Amoco Corporation in Tulsa. The project included 235,000 square feet of space that required programming, space planning, demolition, and new construction (slab to slab) on eleven floors. Concurrently, buildings at two additional locations were reconstructed to accommodate the restacking of the existing Amoco offices.
