Denver Center for the Performing Arts

UDG was commissioned to convert Denver’s original 1911 Tramway Building into support facilities for the Denver Center Theatre Company. The ground floor contains offices for the Artistic and Production Directors, their staff, all marketing facilities and the set and costume design workshops. The first floor has dance and rehearsal spaces, along with facilities to build stage sets for the Theatre Company.

As part of their educational program, the Denver Center Theatre Company offers the National Conservatory Program, which allows students to study and apprentice with working professionals. The classroom space and workshop areas will be used for this purpose. The top floor of the building was renovated for future classrooms.
