Tulsa Community College Veterinary Technician Training Facility

This facility houses a small and large animal veterinary technology teaching program, offering two-year associate degrees in Large and Small Veterinary Animal Technology. It includes amenities to prepare veterinary technicians in all areas of small and large animal clinical work.

The large animal facility contains large animal treatment; equine, bovine, porcine, ovine and caprine stalls; large animal induction and recover; and large animal surgery. The small animal facility contains small animal treatment; small animal surgery; canine, feline, rodent, isolation wards; grooming and food preparation facilities; small animal x-ray; and canine runs. Shared facilities include two 40-student distance learning classrooms, one 40-student laboratory, reference and multimedia library, teaching pharmacy, and teaching darkroom and x-ray.

The administrative portion of the facility includes faculty offices, a conference room, audiovisual room and lounge. Three pastures, each with its own outbuilding for shelter, are also located on site.
