The new Troup County Government Center Complex meets the growing governmental needs of the citizens of Troup County, Georgia. Anchoring a corner of the historic LaGrange town square, the three building complex includes the Government Center, Troup County Juvenile Justice Department and a three-level parking deck.

The easily accessible government facility also adds vitality and synergy to the downtown. Additionally, the complex provides increased convenience for the citizens of Troup County by uniting the county’s government services within the same building as its legal systems.

UDG developed a design that honors the historic character of LaGrange, while recognizing the iconographic role held by a government center within its community. The complex is equipped with state-of-the-art security for citizens as well as employees and is designed to accommodate future growth. The historic 1939 Troup County courthouse was also renovated. The crown jewel of the renovation is the restoration of the historic courtroom.
