University of Southern California: School of Cinematic Arts Phase Two

The School of Cinematic Arts at the University of Southern California continues to add to its facilities to meet its long-term program needs.

Mirroring the design aesthetic and state-of-the-art features of the Phase 1 buildings, the Phase 2 project is a four building complex spanning 34th and 35th Streets. The buildings include space for animation, post-production, wardrobe and makeup, equipment storage and set design, as well as four sound studios.

The second phase includes a 36,000 s.f. instructional building, a 9,500 s.f. soundstage, a 9,200 s.f. soundstage, and an 8,450 s.f. soundstage. This provides more space for animation, post-production, wardrobe and makeup, equipment storage and set design, as well as four sound studios.
